this isn’t bliss

given the choice between
an instance of (fleeting) euphoria
& constant lovely (quiet) moments,
I (always) seek subtle beauty every day,
instead of (merely) tolerating
each second that isn’t bliss.

  1. I can relate to this lovely poem. So many people seem to crave constant excitement, which is absolutely exhausting to me. I’ll settle for quiet contentment any day.

  2. I love this! We seem to crave routine when things are crazy and crave change when things are the same. We should live day by day and appreciate everything.
