  1. It is always very sad and deeply troubling to see women arguing for their own oppression. I knew a single mother who barely had money for gas, and she told me she thought she should be paying more taxes. Really, what can you say to a comment like that?

    • It really is! I would’ve been too stunned to say anything to that. If statistics, anecdotes, & pointing out situations where she’s experienced it don’t work, then what does?
