About

I’m a thirty-two-year-old Filipino woman living & working in Atlanta, Georgia.

I love:

  • awesome people: my husband, friends, & family.
  • writing: I’m most comfortable writing prose, but I’m working on improving my poetry.
  • traveling: abroad (& within the U.S.). So far, I’ve been to the Philippines, the U.K., France, Brussels, Belgium,Β the Netherlands, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Canada, Portugal, and Turkey.
  • good food: I will eat anything except balut.
  • photography: I’m not a photographer, but occasionally, I’ll get cool shots on my fancy camera (& on my iPhone).

I hate:

  • anyone who has a superiority complex, is willfully ignorant, or is one of those people who prides herself (or himself) in not having any friends of the same gender (there’s a reason why, y’all).

I hope that my experiences resonate with you. Leave me a comment about what I’ve posted and/or give suggestions for what I should write about (& photograph) next.

Thank you for reading!

  1. Hi Samantha,

Yum, yum, I love recipes, cookies tasty! Want to put my humble cost-saver meal recipe up when I get time, I’m “almost” vegetarian, and hard to get protein in my diet, which us boys need:)

You’re blog covers a lot of ground and great to see you sharing yourself, and you’ve been at it since 2011, wow !

I’ve added you in my Dashboard –> Links –> Friends category, more people will read out blogs if you do the same …

    Good luck with you blog:)

    Cheers

    • Hi Don,

I tried to do the “almost vegetarian” thing for a month. It wasn’t as hard as I thought! I’ll be posting more recipes, once I make those dishes again, so I’ve got photos to accompany them.

I actually just started a few months ago! πŸ™‚ I did keep livejournals in the past, though. My main goal is to keep developing my writing voice, as well as share more photos & recipes.

Thank you! Good luck with your blog, as well. I enjoyed the wide variety of topics you’ve covered so far!
